Internships and Community Service

Janelle Jalbert also serves as the LA Grad School Examiner at Examiner.com.  In her recent article, Internships are harder to come by this summer, Janelle provides information on internship opportunities for high school through graduate level students interested in the State Department.  Also, there is a link to the recently created website based on the bill President Obama signed into law in April 2009 to promote community service.

 

Volunteering and interning are great ways to get experience in a variety of settings as well as develop contacts and character references for college applications and future employment.
